7.7. Check of high-voltage wires

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect high-voltage wires from candles and ignition coils. Clear and check integrity of isolation of high-voltage wires. Check internal surfaces of contacts of high-voltage wires on absence of corrosion or a deposit.

2. By an ohmmeter measure resistance of high-voltage wires.

Prevention

Resistance of a high-voltage wire should not exceed 10 000 Ohm, otherwise replace a wire.
