8.2. Adjustment of a pedal of coupling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure distance from a forward surface of a pedal to a carpet. A hand press a coupling pedal before emergence of notable resistance and measure size of a free wheeling.

2. If the free wheeling of a pedal of coupling does not correspond to demanded value, adjust it as follows:

– weaken a lock-nut and, rotating a bolt, adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, then tighten a lock-nut;

Prevention

After adjustment tighten a bolt while it will not reach a pedal emphasis, then tighten a lock-nut.


– rotate a pusher before achievement of a demanded free wheeling, then tighten a lock-nut.

Prevention

At adjustment of height of installation or a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling be careful not to move a pusher to the main cylinder of coupling.


3. After completion of adjustments check that the distance from a coupling pedal to a floor at the pressed pedal corresponds to demanded value.

Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling (And): 1–3 mm
Distance from a coupling pedal to a floor at the pressed pedal (In): 90 mm

4. If it is impossible to adjust height of installation and a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, probably in hydraulic system of a drive of coupling there is an air or the main cylinder of coupling is faulty. In this case remove air or disassemble and check the main cylinder of coupling.

PUMPING OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OF THE DRIVE OF COUPLING


Any hydraulic system works normally if air is removed from it.

It is desirable to remove a flywheel and to check a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft on absence of leaks. If necessary, replace a sealing ring.

2. Put greasing in deepening of the bearing of switching off of coupling.

4. A fine-grained emery paper clear surfaces of a flywheel and a press disk and be convinced that all abrasive material and greasing are removed from the cleared surfaces.
5. Put greasing on a shlitsa of a disk of coupling and primary shaft of a transmission.

6. Establish a disk of coupling and center it a special opravka 09411-11000. At installation of a disk of coupling the surface of the disk having marking, should settle down from a press disk.
7. Establish a casing of coupling with a press disk on directing pins of a flywheel.
8. Gradually, in diagonal sequence and in a certain order, tighten bolts of fastening of a flywheel.

9. Remove an opravka aligning a disk of coupling.
10. Establish a transmission.
11. Adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling.
