2.1.21. Inlet collector and air chamber

Inlet collector and air chamber

1–inlet collector;
2–bolt, 15–20 N • m;
3–throttle knot;
4–bolt, 15–20 N • m;
5–laying;
6–fuel highway;
7–air compensatory chamber.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect sockets from sensors of a measuring instrument of a consumption of air and the provision of a butterfly valve.
2. Remove the inlet air branch pipe connected to throttle knot.
3. Remove an accelerator cable.
4. Remove a hose of ventilation of a case and a vacuum hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
5. Separate connections of a vacuum hose.
6. Remove a support of the air chamber.
7. Remove the air chamber and laying.
8. Disconnect the socket of a plait of wires from fuel nozzles.
9. Remove the fuel highway with fuel nozzles.

Prevention

Be careful not to drop fuel nozzles at removal of the fuel highway.


10. Remove an insulator from an inlet collector and disconnect a heater hose.
11. Remove an inlet collector.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the air chamber on lack of defects or cracks.
2. Check an inlet collector on absence of damages or splitting of any its part.
3. Check an air branch pipe on absence of damages or splitting of any its part.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the fuel highway with the fuel nozzles fixed on it.

Prevention

Be careful not to drop fuel nozzles at removal of the fuel highway.


2. Check that insulators are correctly inserted into openings of the fuel highway.
