2.2.14. Cranked shaft

1–bottom loose leaf of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft;
2–top loose leaf of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft;
3–top podpyatnik of a cranked shaft;
4–sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft;
5–cranked shaft;
6–bottom podpyatnik of a cranked shaft;
7–cover of the radical bearing of a cranked shaft;
8–bolt, 55–60 N • m.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a gear belt, a forward cover, a flywheel and the oil pallet.
2. Remove a back cover from the block of cylinders and a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft.
3. Unscrew nuts and remove covers of rods.
4. Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.
5. Remove a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft.

Prevention

Mark covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft to establish them on the places and in the same situation.



Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check necks of radical and shatunny bearings of a cranked shaft on lack of wear and development. Check lubricant openings of a cranked shaft on lack of a contamination.
2. By a micrometer measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft in two opposite directions. In the presence of development or ovality перешлифуйте a cranked shaft. Repolishing of necks of a cranked shaft carry out only till next repair size. If a cranked shaft перешлифован for the repair size of +0,50 mm, carry out shaft heat treatment for increase in its durability.

Diameter of radical necks of a cranked shaft: 50 mm
Diameter of shatunny 45 mm
Ovality and konusnost of necks of a cranked shaft: no more than 0,01 mm


Loose leaves of shatunny and radical bearings

Check shatunny and radical loose leaves on absence of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace loose leaves.

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings

For measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft and the corresponding internal diameters of bearings. The size of a gap is a difference between internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a cranked shaft.

Gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft: 0,028–0,045 mm
Gap of shatunny bearings of a cranked shaft: 0,024–0,042 mm

Measurement of a gap of radical and shatunny bearings with use of the plastic calibrated core of Plastigage

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear radical and shatunny necks of a cranked shaft of greasing, and lubricant openings blow the compressed air.
2. Establish loose leaves of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders. Establish the remained loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Arrange pieces of a plastic measuring core of Plastigage on necks of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.
3. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings. In a certain sequence tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Do not turn a cranked shaft of the engine at measurement of a gap of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. By a measuring template measure width of the deformed plastic core of Plastigage and define gap size.
If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, перешлифуйте necks of a cranked shaft and use repair loose leaves of the increased size.

Oil sealing rings

Check lobbies and back oil sealing rings on absence of damages or wear of working edges. In the presence of any defects replace a sealing ring.

Rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft.
2. Check a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft on absence of damages, cracks and wear and replace, if it is necessary.
3. Check a gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft.

Gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft: 0,5–1,0 mm

Prevention

Measure depth of installation of the sensor, i.e. distance from the top part of teeths of a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft to outer side of a cover.


Calculate a difference between length of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and depth of its installation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the top loose leaves of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of loose leaves establish them on the same places on which they were before removal.
2. Before installation of a cranked shaft apply a thin film pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders.
3. Establish the remained loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft, thus the arrow on each cover should be directed to a pulley of a cranked shaft. In a certain sequence for 2 or 3 stages tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft in the following order: central, No. 2, No. 4, forward and back.

Inhaling moment:
Covers of radical bearings: 55–60 N • m
Covers of shatunny bearings: 32–35 N • m

4. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type on a forward end face of a cranked shaft. Move a cranked shaft along an axis against the stop and establish a scale of the indicator of hour type on a zero. Move a cranked shaft along an axis to other party against the stop and read values axial люфта on an indicator scale.

Axial люфт cranked shaft: 0,050–0,175 mm

5. Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. The special tool 09231-22000 establish a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.
6. Establish a cover of a sealing ring, laying and tighten 5 bolts. At installation grease working edges and an external surface of a sealing ring with pure engine oil.
7. Establish a back cover and fix it bolts.
8. Establish covers of rods.
9. Establish a flywheel, a forward cover, the oil pallet and a gear belt.
