2.2.4. Poliklinova belt

 Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump.
2. Weaken nuts of support of the generator.
3. Weaken a bolt of fastening of the generator and remove poliklinovy a belt.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump.

Inhaling moment:
Sharnirny bolt (And) generator fastenings: 20–25 N • m the Bolt (In) generator fastenings: 15–22 N • m Bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator: 20–28 N • m

Check

Check the following elements and in the presence of defects replace them.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a surface of a poliklinovy belt on absence of damages and cracks.
2. Check a surface of a poliklinovy belt on lack of oil and lubricant.
3. Check a surface of a poliklinovy belt on lack of non-uniform wear.
4. Check a pulley surface on lack of cracks or damages.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a pulley of the pump and fix it bolts.
2. Establish a pulley of the pump and fix it bolts.

Check and tension adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of a poliklinovy belt and its arrangement on pulleys.
Prevention

Check correctness of an arrangement of edges of a poliklinovy belt in flutes of pulleys.
If at work poliklinovy the belt publishes extraneous noise, check a belt on lack of wear and damages, and also working surfaces of pulleys.

 
2. By the special device measure a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator. In the absence of the special device check a belt tension, having pressed on it effort of 100 N (10 kg) in a place located on identical removal from pulleys and measure a belt deflection.

Deflection of a belt of a drive of the generator at tension check:
New belt: 7,5–9,0 mm of//64-73 kg
The belt which was in the use: 9,0–10,4 mm of//39 kg
Check: 5,0–6,0 mm / 34–49 kg
Deflection of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the amplifier of a steering at tension check:
New belt: 8 mm
The belt which was in the use: 6,0–7,0 mm
Deflection of a belt of a drive of the generator and the conditioner at tension check:
New belt: 6,0–9,0 mm
The belt which was in the use: 9,0–10,0 mm

Prevention

The belt which was in the use considered the belt which has worked on the engine more than 5 minutes.


Tension measurement by the special device

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At measurement of a tension of a poliklinovy belt the device should not concern other elements of the engine.
2. Adjust a deflection or a tension of a belt of the pump of the amplifier of a steering.
3. Tighten an adjusting bolt.
4. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine on some turns.
5. Check a tension of a belt and, if necessary, repeat adjustment.
