Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Take шплинты and unscrew nuts of fastening of pins of spherical hinges of tips of steering bent for to rotary fists. A stripper 09568–31000 squeeze out pins of spherical hinges of tips of steering drafts from rotary fists.
2. Turn out a bolt connecting the universal hinge and a shaft of a gear wheel of steering transfer.
3. Merge liquid from a hydraulic drive of the amplifier of a steering.
	4. Disconnect pressure head and returnable hoses from a case of steering transfer.
5. Turn out bolts of fastening of a case of steering transfer.
6. Remove a back support of the engine.
7. Remove the stabilizer of cross-section stability.
	8. Move steering transfer and get it on the right side of the car.
Prevention At removal of steering transfer be careful not to damage protective covers.

Check and preliminary adjustment before installation

Fix steering transfer in a vice which sponges are closed by a soft material.

Prevention

When fastening steering transfer in a vice wrap up steering transfer by a fabric and be careful not to damage it at compression of a vice.

Preliminary loading of a gear wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Measure preliminary loading, turning a gear wheel the special tool 09565-11100 on one turn each 4–6 pages. Also measure starting effort of a gear lath. Full preliminary loading of a gear wheel: 0,6–1,3 N • m.
Prevention Measure preliminary loading at full capacity gear wheels of steering transfer.
2. If preliminary loading does not correspond to demanded values, first of all, adjust the moment of an inhaling of a stopper and repeatedly check preliminary loading of a gear wheel.
	3. If adjustment of the moment of an inhaling of a stopper does not give positive results, check or replace stopper elements.

Resistance to a deviation of steering draft

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make 10 deviations of steering draft.
2. By a dynamometer measure effort which is necessary for putting for a deviation of steering draft. Effort of a deviation of steering draft: 2–5 N
3. If the measured value exceeds nominal rate, replace knot of steering draft.
	Prevention If the measured value is lower than nominal rate and steering draft turns smoothly and without люфта, it is possible to establish it on the car. However, if the measured value is lower than 4,3 N, replace steering draft.

Check of the goffered protective cover

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Visually check the goffered protective cover on absence of damages and deterioration of its properties.

2. Be convinced that the protective cover is established in the correct situation.

3. If the goffered protective cover has defects, replace it.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Remove a tip of steering draft from steering draft.
	2. An edge of a screw-driver remove a protective cover of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft.
	3. Remove a collar of fastening of the goffered protective cover.
	4. Remove a clip of fastening of the goffered protective cover.
5. Move the goffered protective cover to steering draft.
Prevention At replacement of the goffered protective cover check lack of a rust on steering transfer.
6. Remove directing pipe from a gear wheel case.
7. At slow moving of a gear lath merge liquid from a case of steering transfer.
8. Turn out a stopper.
	9. With a gear wheel turned clockwise before blocking of a gear lath, unscrew самоконтрящуюся a nut.
	10. A chisel unbend the lock washer located between steering draft and a gear lath.
11. Unscrew steering draft from a gear lath.
	Prevention At removal of steering draft be careful not to turn a gear lath.
	12. Turn out a lock-nut of fastening of a stopper.
	13. The special tool 09565-21100 turn out a stopper.
	14. Remove a spring, an emphasis and the plug from a case of steering transfer.
	15. Turn out two bolts and remove the valve case.
	16. An edge of a screw-driver turn a stopper of a gear lath clockwise while the end of a lock ring does not leave a groove in a case of steering transfer.
	17. When the end of a lock ring leaves an opening of the case of the cylinder of a gear lath, an edge of a screw-driver turn a stopper of steering transfer counter-clockwise and remove a lock ring.
	18. Remove a stopper of a gear lath, the plug and a gear lath from a case of steering transfer, moving them towards a gear wheel.
Prevention After removal of steering transfer be convinced that replaced a lateral sealing ring of a case.
	19. Remove a sealing ring of round section from the plug of a gear lath.
	20. Remove a sealing ring from the plug of a gear lath.
	21. A plastic hammer remove the valve case from its case.
	22. The special tool 09565-21000 remove oil consolidation and the ball bearing from the valve case.
	23. Remove the ball bearing from a gear wheel case.
Prevention Be careful not to damage the valve cylinder in a case of steering transfer.
	24. Remove the needle bearing from a case of steering transfer.
	25. Special tools 09573-21200, 09555-21000 remove a return washer and oil consolidation from a case of steering transfer.
Prevention Be careful not to damage the cylinder of a gear lath in the gear wheel case.

Check of a gear lath

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a gear lath on absence of damages of teeths or their wear.
2. Check surfaces of contact of oil consolidation on absence of damages.
3. Check a gear lath on lack of a deflection or twisting.
4. Check a sealing ring of round section on absence of damages or wear.
	5. Check oil consolidation on absence of damages or wear.

Check of the valve of a gear wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the gear wheel valve on absence of damages of teeths or their wear.
2. Check surfaces of contact of oil consolidation on absence of damages.
3. Check a sealing ring on absence of damages or wear.
	4. Check oil consolidation on absence of damages or wear.

Bearing check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the bearing on absence of jamming or extraneous noise at its rotation.

2. Check the bearing on absence excessive люфта.

3. Check on lack of the needle bearing.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease a surface of sliding of oil consolidation of a gear lath. Recommended greasing: liquid for the amplifier of a steering of type 3
	2. Establish a return washer and oil consolidation in a case of steering transfer to the situation shown in drawing.
3. Put greasing on all surface of the needle bearing. Recommended greasing: SAE J310, NLGI No. 2
4. Fix the needle bearing on the special tool 09432-21600 and establish it in a case of steering transfer to a contact the case tool.
	Prevention Pay attention to the direction of installation of the needle bearing.
5. Grease the ball bearing and the special tool 09222-21100 establish it. Recommended greasing: SAE J310, NLGI No. 2
Prevention Always use the new bearing.
	6. Grease surfaces of oil consolidation of the plug of a gear lath. Recommended greasing: liquid for the amplifier of a steering of type 3
7. Establish oil consolidation in the plug of a gear lath.
	8. Grease a sealing ring of round section and establish it in the plug of a gear lath.
9. Grease teeths of a gear lath and wrap up it a sticky tape. Recommended greasing: SAE J310, NLGI No. 2
	Prevention Do not block greasing a ventilating opening in a gear lath.
	10. Establish a gear lath in a case of steering transfer. Then establish the plug and a stopper of a gear lath.
	11. Press a stopper of a gear lath before emergence of a pro-point and, turning a stopper, establish a lock ring.
Prevention The lock ring should not be visible through an opening in a case of a gear lath.
	12. The special tool 09432-21600 establish oil consolidation and the ball bearing in the valve case.
	13. Oil and recommended greasing knot of the valve and establish it in a case of steering transfer. Recommended oil: PSF–3 Recommended greasing: SAE J310, NLGI No. 2
	14. Oil and the special tool 09434-14200 establish consolidation in the valve case.
	15. Establish knot of the case of the valve with a sealing ring in a case of steering transfer.
	16. Establish a lock washer and steering draft and in two places зачеканьте a washer fillet.
Prevention Combine short moustaches of a lock washer with dredging on a case of steering transfer. Always use a new lock washer.
	17. With a gear wheel turned against the stop clockwise, tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut.
18. Put hermetic on a carving part of a stopper and tighten a stopper the demanded moment. Inhaling moment: 50–70 N • m
	19. To Zachekanta a stopper in two places on its circle.
	20. Establish the plug, an emphasis and a spring in an order shown in drawing. Before installation put hermetic on a carving part of a stopper.
21. Establish a gear lath in the central situation and establish a cover on a case of steering transfer. The special tool 09565-21100 tighten a cover the moment of an inhaling of 20-25 N • m. Weaken a cover on 10 ° and tighten a lock-nut the demanded moment of an inhaling.
	22. Tighten directing pipe the demanded moment of an inhaling and establish on glue a rubber element. Inhaling moment: 50–70 N • m
23. Put greasing on the goffered protective cover and establish it in a flute of steering draft.
24. Fix a collar the goffered protective cover.
Prevention For fastening of the goffered protective cover it is necessary to use a new collar and a clip.
	25. Check that the goffered protective cover is not overwound.
	26. Fill a protective cover with lubricant, establish it on the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft and fix a lock ring.
	27. Establish steering drafts so that the length of the left and right steering drafts was identical. Length of steering drafts: 185,2±1 mm
28. Check preliminary loading of a gear wheel.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a rubber support of steering transfer so that it was combined with openings in a clip and an arm of steering transfer.
2. Put glue sideways the cylinder in an installation site of a rubber support so that its cutting part did not reveal.
3. Check absence of leakages of liquid.
4. Check that the steering wheel turns smoothly.
5. Adjust a convergence of forward wheels.
	6. Establish other details taking into account the demanded moments of an inhaling.
