Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove steering transfer, a gear wheel and steering drafts from the car as knot assembled.

Dismantling
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix steering transfer in a vice which sponges are closed by a soft material.
Prevention

When fastening steering transfer in a vice wrap up steering transfer by a fabric and be careful not to damage it at compression of a vice.
2. Weaken a collar and remove a protective cover from steering transfer.
3. Using a chisel, unscrew a nut of fastening of the left steering draft.
Prevention

If the gear lath has to be removed, remove the left steering draft.
4. Move a gear lath completely to the right and fix in a vice which sponges are closed by a soft material. Weaken fastening and remove the left steering draft from steering transfer.
5. Remove the right steering draft, having repeated steps 3 and 4.

Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check steering drafts and tips of steering drafts on absence of damages or deformations.
2. Check protective covers on absence of damages or form distortions.
3. Check a torque which is necessary for putting for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge.

Torque which is necessary for putting for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge: 2–5 N • m
4. Check functioning of the spherical hinge of steering draft and axial люфт.

Assembly
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After installation of steering drafts tighten nuts of their fastening the demanded moment and bend a nut fillet in a shponochny groove.

Inhaling moment: 80–100 N • m
2. Fix a protective cover of steering draft a metal collar.

Prevention

It is necessary to establish a collar of fastening of a protective cover after adjustment of a convergence of forward wheels.
3. Measure a transfer course.

Full speed of transfer: 134 mm
Prevention

The full speed of transfer defines the maximum angle of rotation of forward wheels.
4. Adjust length of steering draft and tighten a lock-nut.

Length of steering draft: 185,2 mm
Inhaling moment: 50–55 N • m

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Establish steering transfer and steering drafts as knot assembled.
