The tachometer shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in revolutions per minute (rpm). The tachometer can help to choose more economic mode of driving, and also warns that frequency of turns of a cranked shaft of the engine exceeds the most admissible value.
Prevention
During movement watch tachometer indications. The arrow showing frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine, should not enter into a red zone (a zone of excess of the most admissible frequency of rotation) as it can lead to serious breakage of the engine and deprive of the right to warranty service of the car.
