1.1. General information about the car

 RECOMMENDED FUEL

Unleaded gasoline

On cars of HYUNDAI it is necessary to use unleaded gasoline with octane number of 91 RON (on a research method, "Normal") or above. Use of etilirovanny gasoline will lead to failure of catalytic converter of the fulfilled gases (OG) and to failure of systems of decrease in toxicity. It also can lead to increase in expenses at car maintenance. With a view of an exception of possibility of filling of the car etilirovanny fuel, the bulk mouth of the car is designed so that it is possible to insert only the refueling gun of the reduced diameter used for supply of unleaded fuel into it.
Prevention

To some countries the cars of HYUNDAI having possibility to work at etilirovanny fuel are delivered. If you are going to use etilirovanny fuel, consult at the official dealer of HYUNDAI about possibility of application of etilirovanny fuel on your car. Octane number of etilirovanny gasoline the same, as unleaded.
The guarantee on the new car of HYUNDAI does not cover damage of fuel system and decrease in technical characteristics of the engine, caused by use of methanol or the fuel containing methanol.

Non-polluting types of fuel

With a view of smaller air pollution, the HYUNDAI firm recommends use of the fuel having clearing additives, formations of a deposit promoting prevention in the engine. Such fuel will promote more harmless operation of the engine and the best characteristics of systems of decrease in toxicity.

CAR RUNNING IN

Throughout the first 2000 km of run

Formally for your new car it is not required any special operations for a car running in. However you can promote service life extension, and also improvement of fuel profitability and preservation of high operational qualities of your new car of HYUNDAI, observing the following rules throughout the first 2000 km of run.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Do not exceed speed of movement of 88 km/h.
During movement support operation of the engine with frequency of rotation between 2000 and 4000 mines-1 (revolutions per minute).
Do not maintain the car with the maximum accelerations.
Avoid a troganiye from a place at full capacity.
Avoid sharp braking during the first 300 km of run, excepting dangerous situations. It will help correct extra earnings of overlays of brake shoes.
Do not overload the engine (in other words avoid slow driving by included too high transfer, include lower transfer).
On the cars equipped with catalytic converter of fulfilled gases, do not allow operation of the engine idling more than 3 minutes.
Abstain from trailer towage during the first 2000 km of run.
